The Cellist I

Just felt a bit flat lately - and not much work on IN the studio on the house, so I've taken to slashing colour around in the shed instead. Got a couple of paintings on the go, this is the first.
And since I last put the painting on here, I've amended it, and like it better. . . see below
What I REALLY like is that the cello (and the whole background) was in gold, so that the sun catches it and adds its own gloss. Sigh.
